A global community of ambitious data professionals

Our mission is to be the bridge between the not-for-profit world and the world of data analytics practitioners wishing to do social good. Using D&A, we identify, share, and help implement the most effective means for growing NFP people, organisations, and their impact. Our ultimate goal is social good. We believe that data and analytics has tremendous potential to help not for profit organisations achieve greater impact.

Elevate others

The impact that we achieve is through elevating the work of our charity partners, and empowering them to make better decisions informed by data

We start with the end in mind

We are planned and intentional about the deliverables we deliver

Good times, good vibes, good data

We’re a community with shared interests. We build community both online and IRL with social events and L&D opportunities. We aim to foster friendships and belonging to a diverse, equitable and inclusive community

Professionals & pioneers

We’re data professionals: we take our responsibility as data custodians seriously, we abide by data ethics and use best practice.  We are bullish about the NFP sector’s ability to use their data imaginatively, to unlock real value for society.

Challenges faced by NFPs

Intelligent use of data can significantly increase the effectiveness of charities. This isn’t a new concept. Most, even all, charities use basic data in some way. But the potential of data is significantly enhanced when used by experienced professionals with dedicated D&A tools.

“Non-profits may lack resources, time, know-how and strategy surrounding data and analytics”

Resources

Non-profits may lack access to important data analytics tools due to cost constraints and the absence of an economy of scale

Know-How

Non-profit organisations may not have the required skills for data analytics, such as programming, visualisation, mapping and statistics in house

Time-Limited

Given time constraints, non-profits need to maximise and double down on efforts that are likely to succeed

Strategy

Developing sound business strategy from data & analytics requires a unique blend of analytical and commercial skills
